I read the review about this place running out of pizza dough, so we went there at around 1 pm to order for a 7:30 pm pickup. We ordered a medium house special pizza and a small house salad, as we were advised that the large salad would be way too big for two people. We showed back up at 7:30, and while there 6 or 7 other people there, waiting, our pizza and salad were ready on time. Both were excellent, with a great combo of sausage, pepperoni, and cheeses on the pizza, and almost an entire beefsteak tomato cut up on the salad. Both were excellent and we even had three slices left over! We highly recommend this place!

For a large specialty pie you will be just shy of $18. Oh and make sure you have cash no credit no check. The pizza is a great looking pizza. The crust is sort of like a hand toss. The veggies are fresh and tasty and they use a good quality mozzarella. It's stringy and delicious. The issues I have is there might as well not be any sauce on the pizza because there is so little you can't taste it. The meats are not good. They must be low quality because you can taste it. I would buy a pizza from here again but I would keep it veggie only.

This one is a bit tough to rate. Cedar Key Pizza is clearly a business that is primarily take out. There are no interior seats, and only three tables outside on the patio. Those tables, and the patio itself, are in a state of disrepair and mess that leads me to believe that they are hardly ever used. But we wanted to sit down in the shade and eat. June in Cedar Key is no joke. The pizza was pretty good, no real complaints there. We ordered single slices though, it could be that the fresh made to order pies are even better. The owners are very nice, and $6 for two slices and two drinks is a pretty good deal. Probably another side effect of the non-use of that patio: the parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes are in foil food service packets. Maybe there's not enough business on the patio to warrant having fresh ingredients in house, but I would have preferred something better. Still a good experience overall, and we'll return the next time we are in town.

Awesome Greek pizza! First time in this beautiful, quaint town. Will be back & definitely get their pizza. Don't pass this place up.

Cedar Key Pizza is a small take out only pizza place that offers a limited menus of pizza, subs, calzone and spaghetti with meatballs or sausage. It is run by what appears to be an older husband and wife who are quite nice. Their prices are reasonable for the good quality of the freshly made food. Warning: It takes about 35 minutes for them to make a pizza, but it is worth it, and they are cash only.
